Accountancy Europe (ACE) is an international non-profit organisation based in Brussels that represents 50 institutes of professional accountants and auditors from 37 European countries, including all of the 28 European Union Member States.

Organization formerly known as the European Federation of Accountants (Fédération des Experts-comptables Européens – Federation of European Accountants, FEE). FEE changed its visual identity and name to Accountancy Europe on 7 December 2016.

ACE has a combined membership over 1 million professional accountants, working in different capacities in public practice, small and large accountancy firms, businesses of all sizes, government and education – all of whom contribute to a more efficient, transparent and sustainable European economy.

ACE is committed to inform the European public policy debate independently. It offers technical expertise and coordinated views on developments affecting the European economy. ACE’s contributions are based on the practical experience that professional accountants gain daily in all economic sectors and the values underpinning the profession’s practice. In representing the European accountancy profession, ACE recognises the public interest.

ACE is also a Regional Organisation, member of the International Federation of Accountants (IFAC).

Latvia is represented in the Accountancy Europe by 2 bodies:

  • Latvian Association of Certified Auditors (LZRA) – member since January 2005;
  • Association of Accountants of the Republic of Latvia (AARL) – associate since December 2015.
